Fine Late 19th Century Bronze Figure Signed LemoyneWe are pleased to offer an impressive antique bronze figure of a classical youth signed Lemoyne to the rocky base.The figure, confidently posed, stands barefoot, raising a laurel wreath in his right hand and holding a classical cup in his left — an allegory of Victory or Triumph. The modelling shows good anatomical detail, typical of the Beaux-Arts tradition.The bronze retains its original dark brown patina with natural wear to the high points. Subtle casting lines are visible to the upper arms.
