An antique Tabriz room size carpet of unusually large, elegant proportions, typical Jaffar type, with classic medallion woven on ivory ground flanked by soft red borders and faded blues. A very useful furnishing carpet for that classic English country house look. Even low pile with slight wear in places. Recently washed with ends and sides newly secured. Circa 1900.
