With a Top Quality 8 day Gillett & Johnston of Croydon Movement. This has been Checked, Serviced & Tested to be in Good Full Working Order.
Although they refer to 'clocks bearing the familiar name of Gillett & Johnston' in their brochure of 1906, most were not signed or numbered. This combination of Bell 'Type 1' and a Number have only ever been found on Fusee or Grandfather Movements. There were two other Bell Stamps for other ypes of clocks.

The oak case is good sound and solid with Attractive Graining, Barley Twist Hood Columns, Rope Decorations & Patination.
