Webberley Antiques has dated this George I Walnut Lowboy to the 18th Century.

The shaped bail and engraved brass handles are Georgian and appear original but may be early replacements which have been on the lowboy for most of its life.
With a well shaped apron and substantial cabriole legs to front and rear, original backboard. The oversailing top, quarter veneered in thickly cut walnut and with an inlaid featherbanded inner border and wide crossbanded outer border.

The lowboy is very beautiful, super colour and condition, usable, sturdy, heavy and solid. Strongly recommended.
