Description

A good quality oak cased bracket/mantel clock. Lovely carving to the case front with detailed blocks to the case door. Carved panels to the sides and a sound fretted back door. A brass and silvered dial with corner spandrels and bevelled glass door. Blued steel hands.

A quarter striking 'ting-tang' mechanism by noted makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier of 8-day duration. Circa 1895.
