Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Regency Mahogany Writing Table to the 19th Century.
The well-figured mahogany top sits above two drawers with attractive lion mask ring handles.
Of particular interest, the table is fitted with detachable screw-in legs, allowing it to be dismantled for transport, a feature associated with portable furniture of the period.
Presented in good antique condition with a rich colour and pleasing patina throughout. A versatile piece, equally suited as a writing table, side table or occasional desk.
