The Fine Art Fund has dated this George III Mahogany Sideboard to the Georgian era.
The only visible repair is to the rear bracket on one of the back legs and this is not visible from the front of the piece.

Either way, this is a very useful piece, being narrow front to back but remaining a normal height, it can be used as a desk, dressing table, sofa table or sideboard in the bedroom, dining room, drawing room or hallway.
