Antique Walnut Chest of Drawers

Description

A handsome and solid walnut chest of drawers with a warm polished finish, attractive grain and decorative brass drop handles.

The chest has two smaller drawers over three full-width drawers, offering useful bedroom or general storage. It has a solid, well-made construction with dovetailed drawer joints, panelled sides and a moulded plinth base.

A handsome antique piece with plenty of character, suitable for use in a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or living space.

Condition

Good antique condition with general age-related wear, marks and signs of use.

There is some separation in the side planks, which is common with antique solid wood furniture and does not affect use. There are marks to the top, along with minor surface wear to the finish. Drawers run and function as they should.
