Description

Dating to the last quarter of the 19th century, this pretty Heriz carpet has a lively colour range and a very attractive all-over design. The abrashed terracotta field is filled with stylised leaves, palmettes and myriad small floral blossoms giving the impression of a fertile garden. The sapphire blue main border with repeating floral motifs frames the field. Professionally cleaned in our own workshops. The condition is generally good with just the right amount of wear to give it the desired lived-in look. It also has a strong durable structire ideal for use under a dining table or in a living area.
