A good set of eight Hepplewhite‑style dining chairs, comprising six singles and two armchairs. The chairs feature elegant pierced splat backs with the classic Hepplewhite shield outline, carved with flowing curves and fine detail. The frames are made from well‑figured mahogany with a warm, even colour, standing on square tapered legs united by stretchers for strength. The seats are traditionally upholstered and remain comfortable, though the fabric shows wear and would benefit from re‑covering to suit individual taste. The set is sturdy, well‑matched and ready for everyday use — a timeless, graceful design that brings Georgian refinement to any dining room.
