Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this George V Silver Sovereign Case to the 1910s.
There is a round vacant cartouche to the front and an attaching loop, for use with a fob chain or chatelaine. The case is opened at the top with a push button clasp and the internal mechanism is sprung to facilitate release of the sovereigns. An unusual and desirable collectors piece. Dimensions below.
