Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this Silver Double Sovereign Case to the Edwardian era.
There is a vacant round cartouche to the front and the case opens with a press button release and the lid is hinged. To the inside are two sovereign sprung holders. A good collectors piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver. The hinge and clasp are strong, as are the springs to the sovereign holders.
