At just 92 cm wide, this is a more versatile and sought-after size than many period chests - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, or where space is tight. It offers excellent storage for such a compact footprint with a classic two short over two long drawer configuration.

Crafted in beautifully figured solid mahogany, the chest has developed a rich, warm patina over time; drawers have oval brass plate handles with scallop shell motif and run smoothly.

Raised on shaped bracket feet, this is a handsome chest with clean lines that works equally well in traditional and contemporary interiors.

In good antique condition, with age-appropriate wear and clean interior.
