A Late Victorian Mahogany Chippendale Style Bijouterie Display Cabinet C1890

Description

A late Victorian Mahogany chippendale style Bijouterie display cabinet and dating from around 1890. The top to this cabinet has a pierced carved and moulded swan neck pediment with a moulded cornice underneath it. It has two glazed panel doors with key and three shelves inside. The cabinet sits on column supports with fret work corner supports and a mirror to the back. The base is serpentine fronted with a glazed top which lets you view the contents in the velvet lined drawer. The drawer front is carved with original Brass handles and underneath this are two glazed drawers in fret carved frames with a shelf inside. It stands on square tapered legs and the top lifts off the base for ease of movement.

Measures: Height: 68.5" x Depth: 18.5" x Width: 30.5"
