Large Military Arts & Crafts Oak Refectory Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A large antique oak refectory table dating to 1939. The table is made from a wonderful cut of English oak which is a superb even colour throughout and has an Arts & Crafts feel to it. The table has a military provenance with the stamp showing it was originally made for the Air Ministry in 1939 by a Sheffield maker. The table sits on solid oak trestle ends with a center stretcher and a thick four plank oak top. In very good solid order with some slight age related wear.
