A handsome set of Eight (6+2) George III period mahogany dining chairs; the ladder back design composed of three splats which are pierced and carved with acanthus leaves above a saddle shaped seat and well drawn outscrolling arms which are crisply carved with acanthus. Raised on square moulded legs united by H-stretchers. The seats upholsterd in red damask.

The broad saddle seats are extremely comfortable
