Description

A beautiful mid 20th century oil on canvas depicting the village of Les Allards, Ile d'Oleron (also called the Island of Light), the adopted home of the Italian Impressionist and Modern artist Mario Pinetti, located south of La Rochelle.

Pinetti had a studio in Paris, where he exhibited in numerous salons.

Signed lower left by the artist and with a titled label on the reverse, set in the original painted wooden frame and mount.
