Antique 19thc Yew Wood Windsor Armchair

Description

From the worksop area a good 19thc yew wood windsor armchair with a crinoline stretcher .

The crinoline stretcher was created so ladies with long dresses could sit comfortably.

It dates from around 1840 and is in excellent condtion.

The seat is one piece of figured elm ( see pic)

Colour and patina are deep and warm that only yew tree can give.

A super armchair ,it measures 92cms h 56cms w and 37cms d
