George III demi-lune tables are semi-circular side or console tables designed during the late 18th century. They typically feature refined neoclassical proportions, straight tapered or cabriole legs, and rich timber veneers such as mahogany or satinwood.

Primary woods included Cuban and West Indian mahogany, often accented with flame veneers, crossbanding, and marquetry. Construction featured hand-cut dovetail joints, oak or pine secondary woods, and hand-planed surfaces.
