An outstanding Victorian snap-top table, masterfully crafted from solid walnut and presented in superb antique condition. The oval top features beautifully matched quartered walnut veneers, decorated with intricate marquetry and delicate string inlay. Supported by a superbly carved central column flowing into four beautifully shaped carved legs that sweep outward and end in original castors for ease of movement. Practical as well as decorative, the tilt-top mechanism allows the table to be conveniently stored upright, showcasing its exquisite surface even when not in use.
