Description

A Pair of 19th century Silver Plated Wine Coolers.

The Pair of good scale, and heavy weight, each with a lift off rim collar, decorated with cast leaves and scrolling flowers.

The collars sweeping to the lift out cylindrical canisters.

The rim collars and canisters fitting within campana shaped vase bodies, formed slightly lobbed and reeded panels.

The Vases standing on ring and concave socles, flowing into the circular foot, likewise with cast decoration of leaves and scrolling flowers, the lobbed shaping forming scallop foot.

Each with a pair of handles, formed as gathered vines, emerging from vine leaf brackets.

Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm.

Width 10 1/4 inches, 26cm.

Depth 9 1/2 inches, 24cm.
