A demi-lune console table is a semi-circular table designed during the 18th century to sit flat against a wall, often used in entryways, dining rooms, and corridors.

George III furniture was predominantly constructed from high-grade West Indian or South American mahogany, featuring solid frames with flame mahogany veneers and hand-jointed timber construction.

Authentic pieces feature hand-sawn timber marks, natural shrinkage along the grain, original pegs or hand-cut mortise and tenon joinery, and natural oxidation on unvarnished undersides.
