A Yew Wood Tea Caddy Inlaid C 1770

Description

A very good and rare hexagonal tea caddy in burr yew,it has an oval inlaid panel of Oak leaves and Acorns,and an inlaid oval to the top. The lid has a bone knop and a key escutcheon with GR carved on it,(no key) the whole is strung with boxwood string inlay it has a lid to sit on the tea, the condition is excellent it has a wonderful flour and patina
