Antique Very Large 19th Century Gilt Floor Overmantle Wall Mirror – High Quality

Full of authentic charm and character, this very large 19th-century gilt floor overmantle wall mirror is rare and elegant. A little different and quite special, it would make an impressive statement in the right location. Solid and well made, it has no loose joints or signs of woodworm.

The original mirrored glass is in good antique condition, showing light oxidation, minor scratches, and other age-related imperfections, with lovely sparkles and attractive spider’s web oxidation that add depth and character.

The frame is in good antique condition, retaining some of its original gilt finish and displaying expected historic knocks, marks, losses, wear, imperfections, repairs, alterations, refinishing, and sympathetic touching up consistent with age.
