Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco perfume bottles from the 1930s are recognised by angular silhouettes, faceted glass cuts, geometric enamel detailing, and exaggerated stoppers. Production from regions such as Bohemia introduced contrasting black, red, and gilded accents applied over clear or frosted crystal.

These pieces were typically crafted from lead crystal or heavy glass, shaped through mould-blowing or hand-cutting, and finished with cold enamel, acid etching, or gilding. Hand-fitted ground glass stoppers were designed specifically to create an airtight seal with the bottle neck.

Authentic period pieces exhibit sharp, hand-cut glass facets, precise geometric enamelling, and age-appropriate wear on the underside of the base and stopper stem. Ground glass stoppers are often numbered to match the corresponding bottle neck.

A geometric glass perfume bottle can be displayed on a mirrored tray, a bathroom counter, or a bedroom dressing table alongside contemporary brass or marble accessories to complement modern vanity spaces.

Clean the exterior glass gently using a soft, dry microfibre cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners or soaking in hot water, which can degrade vintage enamel and gilding. Ensure the stopper is handled carefully to prevent chipping at the neck joint.
