Fine antique William IV carved mahogany wine cooler in a sarcophagus shape boasting fabulous quality expertly carved lift up lid, original fitted interior, beautiful carved mouldings to the front and sides. It stands on bun feet with original brass castors.

This is a magnificent example in wonderful original condition. The colour is very rich; the design and craftsmanship being outstanding. It is an exceptional piece of the highest quality

A William IV mahogany wine cooler, also known as a cellarette, is a piece of freestanding dining room furniture produced during the reign of King William IV (18301837). Typically crafted in a sarcophagus shape with carved mouldings, it was designed to house and chill wine near the dining table.
