Description

This antique oil painting of an artist's dog which is of a small dog sitting on an artist's palette is beautifully painted on board and dates from the late 19th / early 20th century.

This handsome painting is signed on the bottom left with the artist's signature of W. Beekers and sits in it's gilt frame.

This painting is after Charles Van Den Eycken's The Artist's Helper dog painting, is a charming dog portrait which is full of character and would make a wonderful decorative piece. Can be hung by the rear fixing.

Dimensions of frame: Width: 16 cm (6 1/4"). Height: 21 cm (8 1/4").

Condition: Very good original antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some cracking, wear, marks and chips.

Please note that only the framed painting is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
