Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Art Deco Ruby Ring to the 1930s.
The stone is flanked at the north and south by a pair of white and lively old European cut diamonds (each gauged to weight just under half a carat each). The ring sit on a slender platinum mount, with two long baguette cut diamonds set on the asymmetrical shoulders. A daring, exciting - and utterly beautiful ring.

Accompanied by a ruby report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby shows no evidence of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut: Emerald cut ruby, with two old European cut diamonds and two baguette cut diamonds.

Colour: The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity: The ruby is eye-clean. The diamonds range from VS1 to VS2.
Carat: The ruby is approximately 1.25 carat. Each of the round diamonds are approximately 0.45 carat. Each baguette cut is approximately 0.10 carat each. Total approximate diamond weight 1.10 carat.

Circa: 1935.
Size: P 1/2 (UK) or 7 3/4 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The ruby is 6.6 x 5.5mm. The ring is 15.5mm along the finger and sits 7.2mm from the finger.
Weight: 5.37 grams.
Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
