Staffordshire figures are earthenware ornaments produced in the pottery districts of Staffordshire, England, during the nineteenth century. These items were mass-produced for Victorian homes and depicted royal family members, historical events, cultural figures, and country scenes.

These figures were cast in earthenware using multi-part plaster moulds. After the initial firing, the lead glaze was applied, followed by hand-painted overglaze enamel colours and sparse gilding details.

Authentic pieces generally show press-moulding seams, fine glaze crazing, and small firing air holes on the base or back. They typically lack makers marks and exhibit wear on the base consistent with age and placement on surfaces.
