The Fancy Fox has dated this Georgian Silver Snuff Box to the 18th Century.
Hallmarked inside for Birmingham 1791, maker Samuel Pemberton, a specialist maker of very fine quality small pieces such as nutmeg graters, caddy spoons, vinaigrettes, etc.

It measures 3.5cm (1 3/8") long by 2.2cm (7/8") wide and 0.9cm (3/8") deep. It weighs 10g / 0.3ozt.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear, the decoration and hallmarks are lovely and crisp. The hinge is excellent and the cover closes snugly.
