Mint Solid 9ct Gold Omega 552 Automatic 1965

Description

This is a remarkable unrestored and almost unworn example of the solid 9ct gold Omega 552 Automatic from 1965

The only work we have carried out is to service the movement and give the case a light polish with a soft cloth.

The solid 9ct gold case is 34mm in diameter excluding the original crown, a full size gents.

The case edges are sharp and crisp the watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and rarely worn.

The movement is the Omega 552, Omegas greatest automatic winding movement. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 5 seconds per day , not bad for a 60 year old watch.

The dial is totally original it has had no restoration whatsoever it is the beautiful and very rare diamond bright cut dial that shimmers as the light catches it.

The hands are matching gold

The hallmarks and movement serial number both indicate that this watch was made in 1965

Its the most original unrestored example you will ever see.
