A rather large 19th Century painting of ships at sunset by the 19th Century artist William Rogers who specialised in maritime scenes and was a fairly prolific artist in the 2nd half of the 19th Century.

This particular painting has a lovely overall sunset scene with a calm atmosphere.

The painting has the beautiful gilt gold original frame that sets off the painting well. Signed right hand corner.

The canvas without frame measures 50cm X 75cm. and framed 74cm X 100cm.
