Description

Sunderland Bridge rummer. The bucket bowl depicting a view of the bridge with a ship sailing under the bridge inscribed Sunderland Bridge. The reverse with initials MO below an engraved pennant border English c1830.

Condition: Very good.

Rim dia: 9 cm.

Foot dia: 7.5 cm.

Note: The Sunderland Bridge (actually the Wearmouth Bridge) is a famous iron bridge over the river Wear opened in 1796.
