£4,950    $6,655    €5,809
Important late 18th or early 19th century white marble library statue of the Apollino or Medici Apollo, a Roman copy of a Hellenistic sculpture of the adolescent sun god Apollo. Discovered in Rome in the 17th century it was originally in the Borghese collection but then moved to the Medici collection in 1704. In 1769-70 it was moved to Florence and is now in the Uffizi.
