Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian silver sugar nips are scissor-action implements crafted during the eighteenth century, designed specifically for grasping and serving lump sugar alongside formal tea services.

These items were predominantly forged from sterling silver, featuring central pivot rivets, cast scrollwork arms, and shell or oval-shaped terminal grips.

Authentic pieces typically feature British hallmarks or makers marks stamped near the pivot or finger rings, along with visible solder joints and era-appropriate cast ornamentation.

Silver sugar nips can be displayed alongside contemporary tea sets on a tray, placed within a decorative glass display case, or featured as part of a curated silver table setting.

Clean gently using a soft cloth and specialised silver polish, avoiding abrasive chemical dips that can strip delicate historical oxidisation and surface patina.
