Holmes Antiques has dated these Georgian Mahogany Chest Drawers to the 18th Century.
Retaining the original brass swan neck handles and beautfully shaped bracket feet. The very clean and original drawer linings are made in oak with pine backs. There is a red wash to the underneath, drawer backs and pine groundwork to the ends, this was practiced in the finest workshops of the day including that of Thomas Chippendale.
The pine back boards are untouched with wonderful dry surface. Circa 1760.
