Qashqai tribes of south west persia,last quarter 19th century.

Features twin pole hexagonal medallions outlined in ivory latched hooks with the qashqai emblem inside each.

Myriads of birds,animals and tribal motifs within the dark blue field.

Nice rich colours with good pile throughout.

Hand washed and de-dusted.

All ends and sides secured,relatively in impeccable condition.

6 foot 2 inches by 5 foot. 189cm X 152cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. All woollen hand knotted construction.
