Austrian Victorian Period Silver Card Case

A Victorian period Austrian silver engraved and engine turned finish calling card case c.1860. The heavy quality solid silver case with bowed sides and raised lip above. The inset hinged lid with engraved decoration to the surface and small flange to the front edge to aid opening, complemented by engraving to the sides. The underside of the case with engine turned and engraved decoration. The lid opening to reveal a clean gilt lined interior with Austrian silver marks and unidentified makers mark.
