This is an antique bedside table. A French, walnut, marble and inlaid brass nightstand, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

Fine quality and exquisite finish to this delightful bedroom piece

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

Dashing white marble and golden brass add further appeal

Of square form and framed with tapering pilasters

Marble plinth edged with brass fretwork rails

Arranged as a wide drawer over a marble lined cabinet

Each dressed with small circular pulls and brass mouldings

Tapering supports inlaid with brass gadrooning beneath gilt collars
