Pair of George III solid silver wine bottle coasters,

hallmarked Sheffield 1817, makers mark I&T.S for John & Thomas Settle

A deep curving reeded design with gadrooned rims.

Turned walnut insert bases, central silver button with interesting hand engraved armorial crest, crowned eagle / griffon with plain cross over it's breast on a base with 5 ermine tails.

Original green felt slides

Both in excellent condition with no damage or repair.

Diameter 5,3/4" or 147mm, height 2" or 50mm, gross weight 468 grams .
