Sturmans Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
One side with sheep grazing in a country setting with a tree set to one side. The opposite side with two beehives and harvesting tools with rose decoration above. Stepped flared foot with decorative engraving and large plain handles with thumb plates to the base of each. Bears the makers mark for London silversmiths Jacob Marsh along with clear hallmarks to the base and handles. Presented in immaculate undamaged condition with a deep shine.
