A superior quality mid Victorian burr walnut oval top Sutherland table with carved base c.1875. The turned and carved twin pedestal base with supporting stretcher and moulded carved legs; original brass and porcelain castors below. The book matched veneered figured walnut top with moulded edge opening to form a sturdy occasional table.
