Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Regency mantel clocks, produced in Britain during the early 19th century, are characterised by Neoclassical motifs, classical figures, and refined brass or ormolu mounts. They often house high-quality fusee mechanical movements designed for precise timekeeping.

These clocks commonly combine dark patinated bronze or bronzed wood with mercury-gilded bronze mounts, cast brass dials with engine-turned gilding, and durable steel chain fusee mechanisms.

Authentic Regency clocks feature hand-chased brass or bronze fittings, fine engine-turned metal dials, and heavy fusee movements with hand-cut gear teeth rather than modern stamped components.

Position the clock as a central focal point on a marble mantelpiece, dark wood console table, or minimalist sideboard, where the contrasting dark patinated finish and gilded highlights add visual interest.

Dust gently using a dry, soft microfibre cloth or fine camel-hair brush, avoiding chemical cleaners, polishes, or water which can strip the delicate gilded layer and damage the natural historic patina.
