Description

Here we have a a fine and rare early 18th century Scottish Oak lambing chair c1720. As you can see the chair has great colour and patina. There is a shaped top rail with moulded decoration and of course pegged mortice and tenon construction. There is a well chosen panel to the back showing the medullary rays within the Oak grain. There are shaped arms and panelled sides. The seat unusually slides to reveal open space. There are stile legs and again some simple moulded decoration above and below the front panel. A super chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 109 cm high 59 cm wide 54 cm deep.
