Hi

I have for sale a fully restored 1880s green marble , black marble and gilded extras French Mantle clock with a small carriage clock fully restored movement made in France.

The Case

The case is in solid marble with stunning cast cherubs in perefct bronze and gilt they are stunning to look at, the small clock stands 24cm high x 18cm wide with a depth of 14cm it is in perfect condition no chips or cracks or gilding loss.

The Dial

The dial is in original condition in white porcelain with blue Roman numerals and black ornate hands all original to this great clock the face is just 6cm across.

The Movement

The movement is an eight day time only and has been fully stripped and hand polished new spring oiled and re-built so running great over the eight days via the original platform escapement.

Overall a quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.

A key is included.
