Arundel Clocks has dated this French Crystal Regulator Clock to the 1870s.
I have for sale a very rare large fully restored 1870s French crystal regulator mantel clock that is in stunning condition for the age with an original brass case and fully serviced eight day striking movement run via original pendulum.

The Case
The case is in solid very shiny brass and standing 37cm high x 18cm wide with a depth of 16cm it is in very good original condition very shiny and has been very well looked after over the years.

All glass panels and doors again are in mint condition.
The Dial
The dial is in original condition it is gilded with the blue enamel inset centre set off with black Arabic numerals and with the original spade hands.

The Movement
The movement is an eight day time and strike striking the hours and halves on a large sweet gong a real quality movement, which still retains the original key and matching brass and mercury filled pendulum.

The movement keeps good time over the eight days; just been serviced and running very strong)
Please do not miss this one you might not see a clock like this again you could wait a very long time to see another ,it is stunning in the flesh.
Overall a very beautiful rare clock in its original condition that’s looking great on display keeping great time.
