Victorian 0.81 Carat Sapphire Solitaire Ring, Circa 1900

Description

A fantastic late Victorian sapphire ring. The bold, almost architectural ring is crafted beautifully buttery antique high-carat gold, with ornate detailing at the shoulders and fancy scrolls at the north and south of the ring. The centre is set with a bright, vivid blue sapphire secured by four claws within a square collet. An impressively unique antique solitaire.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310533).

Cut – Round mixed cut.

Colour – Blue.

Clarity – Eye clean (VS).

Carat – 0.81.

Circa – 1900.

Size – P (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Weight – 9.94 grams

Measurements – The sapphire is 5.5mm in diameter. The ring is 3mm at the base of the band and 11.3mm at the widest point.

Metal – 22k gold. Tested.
