George II Mahogany Bureau Bookcase

Description

This Fine George II Mahogany Bureau Bookcase dates from circa 1750.

It is topped by a well-carved cornice and has fielded panel doors and a pair of candle slides. Inside the bookcase it is fitted with adjustable, shaped, mahogany division’s.

The bureau has a well-fitted interior, two secret column drawers with spring. Release catches and two further secret drawers above the pigeon holes.

The whole has a good colour and patina.
