A Continental bronze on a wooden plinth showing a lion and lioness at play or perhaps flirting. It is probably French, finely cast and quite large as we have tried to show in the photos. It weighs 8.1 kg.
It is unsigned but in the style of Pierre-Jules Mêne. It is a lovely bronze and one that would have been more expensive had it been signed.
The patina is good and we estimate it to be circa 1900.
We can deliver free of charge in UK mainland and can calculate the cost for International delivery.
