Description

Fine pair of large late 19th century Japanese bronze vases,c1880. Beautifully cast and very heavy at 4kg each, they have taken on great colour/patina following many years of handling. They are profusely decorated in relief with storks/birds encircling the top of the body and swirling seas and turtles around the main body. The rims are decorated with typical geometric patterns. The vases are in good original condition with only very minor surface wear. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view them or have any questions.
